ok, maybe , you do have some time until you need to stress. However, if you are like me, and many Arizona Residents that cannot come inside from the sunshine, you wont start preparing your return until April 14th and any news is good news when it comes to taxes and that dreadful phrase 'IRS'.
There are some reasons, good ones believe it or not, Tax law propositions that may change the tax code for the positive helping millions of home owners get through a difficult time. 
There is a pending tax reform legislation that willl be presented to the President for his approval that according to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, a Kentucky Republican
"addresses the core issues of this Real Estate and Housing crisis, including foreclosure mitigation, mortgage counseling, FHA modernization and home owner tax credits, among other provisions," that we need not only in Phoenix (where foreclosures and short sales are high) but in most parts of the country.
The good news amidst all the 'politico speak' is that the government is aware. Our leaders are concerned and fully understand that home ownership is the foundation of our economy.
The legislature is working hard to address the problems that are ailing the housing industry in order to resume confidence , prevent the possibility of a prolonged recession and get America on track to building wealth and a secure future. Historically, much of which was founded on Real Estate.
I will outline a few of the proposals tomorrow in more detail.
However, ultimately, if you take advantage of the benefits of home ownership, you will realize more tax breaks to make the benefits of your slice of the American dream even more sweet.
